1Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, single and legally free to marry, and genuinely seeking a marriage partner to use Virtual Rishta Naata. By creating a profile, you confirm that everything you tell us about yourself — your age, marital history, circumstances, and background — is true and complete.

2The Nature of This Service

Virtual Rishta Naata is a platform that lets members create a profile, search for others, and make contact through the platform's in-app messaging. We are a facilitator, not a matchmaker, marriage bureau, or guarantor of any outcome. We do not introduce members to one another, recommend matches, or take any part in the conversations, meetings, or decisions that follow. Whether and how a connection develops — and whether it leads anywhere — is entirely between the members involved and, where relevant, their families.

This service exists solely to facilitate opposite-gender introductions for the purpose of marriage. Search and in-app messaging only ever show, and only ever allow contact with, members of the opposite gender.

3Verification of Members

This is as much practical verification as we are able to carry out on our part, to help keep the community safe and genuine. Beyond it, verifying anyone you are in contact with — and everything else about them — is entirely your own responsibility and liability as a member. You must carry out your own due diligence, and report any suspicious behaviour to us immediately using the report option in chat.

We strongly encourage you to take the same care you would in any other route to marriage: involve your family, ask questions directly, seek references through your own community connections, and take your time before making any decisions.

4Membership, Billing & Cancellation

• The Monthly plan (£10/month) renews automatically each month until you cancel.
• The Annual plan (£100/year) is billed once for a full year and does not auto-renew; we'll ask if you'd like to continue at the end of the term.
• Cancelling stops future charges but does not refund the current billing period.
• Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, buying a digital subscription online would normally give you a 14-day right to cancel for a refund. Because membership gives you immediate access to browse and message other members, we ask you to expressly confirm — via a checkbox shown before payment — that you want immediate access and are giving up that 14-day right. If you don't confirm this, we won't take payment.
• We do not offer refunds for accounts removed due to a breach of these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
• A 1-1 consultation is a separate, one-off £35 charge, payable at the time of booking and not part of your membership subscription.

5When Your Rishta Is Settled

You can let us know by deactivating your account from your account page, or by emailing us directly. We're happy for this to be a happy email to write.

6Prohibited Conduct

The following will result in immediate removal from the platform, without refund:

• Seeking a marriage for the purpose of obtaining a visa or immigration status.
• Misrepresenting your marital status, age, health, religious status, or any other personal circumstance.
• Harassment, disrespect, or inappropriate conduct towards any member.
• Sharing another member's details or profile information outside this platform without their consent.
• Creating more than one profile, or creating a profile on behalf of someone else without their knowledge.
• Using the platform for any commercial, promotional, or solicitation purpose unrelated to marriage.

7Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or permanently remove any account, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, if we believe these Terms or our Community Guidelines have been breached. We may also remove profiles that have been inactive for an extended period after reasonable attempts to contact the member.

8Photographs, Verification Video & Content

You retain ownership of any photo, video, or content you upload. A profile photo is required to complete your profile; by uploading it, you confirm it is a genuine, recent photo of yourself and grant us permission to display it to other active members in accordance with our Privacy Policy — photos are never made public and are only ever shown to members who open your profile.

Your Ahmadi Verification introduction video is not shown to other members, before or after approval — it is reviewed once by our admin team as part of approving your profile, then permanently deleted the moment a decision is made, as described in Section 3 above and in our Privacy Policy.

9Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Virtual Rishta Naata is not liable for any loss, damage, distress, or outcome — financial, emotional, or otherwise — arising from your use of the platform, your interactions with other members, or any meeting, relationship, engagement, or marriage that results from a connection made here. You use this service, and act on any information you receive through it, entirely at your own discretion and risk.

10Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Virtual Rishta Naata against any claim, loss, or expense arising from your breach of these Terms, your conduct on the platform, or your conduct towards another member.

11Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the service or the law. We'll post the updated date at the top of this page; continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
